Australian Artist Ann-maree Morgan
Originally from Sydney’s north side, I’m a portrait and wildlife artist whose journey has taken me from the bushland surrounds of the Northern Beaches and Inner West to a peaceful, tree-laced property on the Central Coast of New South Wales. While I’ve embraced life in this welcoming coastal community, my deep connection to Sydney remains strong through family, lifelong friends, and creative roots.
Art has been a constant presence in my life from a very young age. Inspired by the beauty of Australia's natural world and enriched by my travels, my work reflects a heartfelt love for both the native environment and the global landscapes that continue to shape my perspective.
Today, my artistic practice has expanded beyond the studio—I now teach art classes aboard international world cruises, sharing the joy of creativity with people from all walks of life as we journey across the seas. I also continue to lead local workshops in watercolor art from beginners to the more experienced artists, encouraging others to connect with the artist within and explore their own creative potential.
With a background in the design industry, I bring a thoughtful, personalised approach to my work. Whether it’s a commissioned portrait, a custom pet portrait, or a local landscape scene, I strive to make each creation meaningful and unique.
My portfolio includes hand-drawn portraits, landscapes, and wildlife pieces—each one a labour of love. I pour my soul into every artwork, and I’m deeply honoured when others choose to bring them into their homes or gift them to someone special.
